Terms & Conditions

1.
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participating in the ABG/ MLA Spring Butchers’ Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.
Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees of the Promoter (and their immediate families), participating retailers, members of the Australian Butchers’ Guild (ABG), members of Australian Butchers’ Choice (ABC) and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase a qualifying BEEF product from a participating ABG member retail outlet and complete the official entry at www.springbutcherspromo.com.au supplying name, residential address and contact email address. There is a maximum of one (1) entry for each qualifying purchase. A qualifying purchase is any BEEF product purchased from an ABG retail store. Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt as proof of purchase.

Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
6.
Promotional period runs from 8am AEST Monday 15th October 2018 to 11.59pm AEST Sunday 25th November 2018.

The draw will take place at 10am AEST on Wednesday 28th November 2018 at MLA Australia, Level 1, 40 Mount Street, North Sydney NSW 2060.
8.
The first (1st) valid entry drawn from all entries received in the promotion will win a Flight Centre Travel Gift Card valued at $10,000.00. The next ten (10) valid entries drawn from all entries received will win a Ziegler & Brown Triple Grill on Cart BBQ valued at $798.00 each. Total prize pool is $17,980.00. The BBQs received by the winners may differ in minor respects from the items shown in promotional material.
9.
The winners will be notified by email and their name will be published on www.springbutcherspromo.com.au website from Monday 3rd December 2018.
10.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11.
If the winner of any prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian.
12.
The prizes will be delivered to all prize winners by the Promoter and, unless notified otherwise, will be delivered to the address given in the online entry.
13.
Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash.
14.
If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
15.
In the event that any prize not being claimed within three months after the date of the draw, the Promoter may, subject to any written directions of relevant state authorities conduct further draws as
 
are necessary to distribute the prizes. Promoter will conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same place as the original draw at 10am AEST on Thursday 28th February 2019. In the event of an unclaimed prize draw, the winners will be notified by email and their name will be published on www.springbutcherspromo.com.au website from Monday 4th March 2019.
16.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
17.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including the NonExcludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) use of the prize; (b) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (c) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (d) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (e) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; or (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant.
18.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. By entering this promotion, you acknowledge and agree that the Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants may opt-out of receiving such marketing material by contacting the Promoter or following the unsubscribe facility in the message or marketing material. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. In other respects, personal information will be dealt with in accordance with MLA’s privacy policy which can be viewed at http://www. mla.com.au/General/Privacy.
